Can I use an automated program (a bot) to make purchasing easier on your site?
You cannot. If you are caught using a bot, script, or program to purchase on our site, you will be refunded and banned. We do everything that we can to ensure that our items are purchased fairly and equitably. Bots give an unfair advantage and their use is prohibited by Kindercarry and Melissamade, Inc.
What if I need to cancel my order?
Due to the speediness of our shipping team, we do not allow cancellations. You can always return your carrier if the purchase doesn't work out. (see below)
Can I purchase more than 1 Kinderpack at a time?
Yes! In the past we have had to limit to one per household, but that is no longer the case!
I accidentally ordered the wrong print/size- can I change it before it ships?
Unfortunately, no. Our stockings are typically sold out by the end of the stocking day, which doesn’t leave us with extra inventory to switch sizes or prints for customers. Please review your order before making it final, Kindercarry is not responsible for incorrectly ordered items.
Will my Kinderpack be EXACTLY like the one in the photos?
Please note, all carriers are subject to slight handmade variances, differing from the stock photos. This can include differences in print placement, thread color, or other small aesthetic differences.
What is your Exchange/Return Policy?
We offer Exchanges and returns if you meet the conditions below. All returns need to first be authorized by Kindercarry. Packages that are returned to us without prior authorization will be refused.
Conditions for Exchange/Return:
-Exchanges and returns must be requested within 30 days of receipt of your carrier, and must be initiated via and email to our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org. The carrier must in brand new condition, unused, and unwashed.
-Exchanges are available on a "no-holds" basis. You may return your carrier, and what we have in stock that day, is what will be available to exchange for. We are not able to hold a carrier for you. If you don't like any prints in the size you need on the day your return is processed, we will treat it as a return and there will be the 10% restocking fee. (see below) The other option we suggest to ensure you get the size/ print you want, is to make a second purchase, and return your other carrier for a full refund.
-Returns with shipping reimbursements, will only be accepted if the product has a manufacturing flaw that affects safety and/or use. Pictures must accompany the inquiry. If the claim is approved by Kindercarry, your carrier will then be replaced, fixed, or refunded, at our discretion. The carrier must in brand new condition, unused, and unwashed.
-Returns due to any other reason than a manufacturing flaw that affect safety and/or use, are subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the carrier price. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges to and from.
-Returns will only be accepted from sales that were generated from this website, with proof of purchase. If your carrier came from an authorized retailer, Ebay, or an individual, you must take your complaint to those persons.
What is your Warranty Policy?
Kindercarry warranties your Kinderpack for 1 year on purchases made from our website or an authorized retailer. Within the year of purchase, if something should happen to your carrier that is deemed beyond normal wear and tear, please contact us. Our carriers are handmade and may have slight variations that do not affect safety or use. Measurements may vary slightly, as well as stitching variations. These instances are not considered flaws. If flaws are noticed on a new purchase, claims must be made within 30 days of receipt. The original owner is the only person who can make manufacturer warranty claims. Warranties are non-transferable.
Criteria NOT covered by warranty- Kindercarry will not be responsible for:
- any carrier that has been altered in any way, including, but not limited to, repaired, dyed, painted, added on to, etc.
- damage done to items not used as intended or instructed.
- Any bleeding or fading of the fabric of the carrier. (please remember to follow the washing instructions in the FAQ)
- updating or retrofitting previously purchased Kinderpacks to the model’s current design specs.
- variations in stitching
- repairs to Kinderpacks that are not covered under our 1 year warranty.
Each situation will be evaluated on an individual basis. If you have a concern, please email us with your question.
What is your policy on repairs?
Please see our warranty information above if your Kinderpack is still under our 1 year warranty.
Our carriers are made to last. But, if you find that over time there are things that need to be looked at, you may want to consult with a local alterations shop or dry cleaners for repairs. We only do repairs on carriers that are still under warranty.
If you happen to receive a carrier that has a "flaw" or something of concern to you, please contact us and we will evaluate what can be done on an individual basis. Please note that that will involve shipping back to us to re-evaluate the carrier in hand, as pictures of a potential flaw are not accurate enough for evaluation purposes. Also, consult the warranty info above.
Please note: Kinderpacks are made from fabric- fabric has limitations, and will not last forever. Fabric wear is to be expected with frequent use, and washings. Baby carriers are intended to be used, and not to remain pristine for years. Enjoy your Kinderpack and don't worry about reselling!
Kindercarry will NEVER sell your information to anyone, for any reason. Period. You may get follow up emails from us to see if you were satisfied with your purchase.
What forms of payment do you take?
We take all major debit and credit cards - Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We do not take Paypal
How will my Kinderpack be shipped?
All Kinderpacks will be shipped via Priority Mail. U.S. shipping is a flat rate of $12; Canada is $32, and all other international destination are $46. Shipping is only combined on a single purchase. The cart will calculate the combined charge.
Kindercarry will not declare international packages as gifts or reduce the value.
International customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer, and customs fees are not included in any charges made by Kindercarry or Melissamade, Inc.
How long will it take to get my Kinderpack?
Please refer to the original listing for specific ship times for your carrier. Each combo has it’s own time frame. Most items are shipping within 2-3 business days at this time.
Once your Kinderpack has shipped, you will receive an email from us with the tracking information. Priority Mail via USPS to domestic destinations, usually takes 2-3 days from the shipping day. International Priority Mail can take 1-3 weeks for delivery from shipping day.
